Father Kolbe School, originally called St. Casimir's, began as five spacious classrooms on the first floor of the newly built St. Casimir's Church in November of 1902. Established to meet the needs of the growing Polish community in the area, their first students received instruction in both Polish and English. Over the years the school has moved through several buildings, growing its current location in 1954. Father Kolbe School remains a faith-filled center of learning in the Canton Community where its 100-year tradition of excellence continues generation after generation. In partnership with St. Casimir's Church, the school fosters the development of young people who will become competent, faith-filled, productive members of society. The school serves students from PreK through the 8th grade.
