1. How much is tuition?

Tuition cost depends on the school. The tuition at most elementary schools fall in the $3,900 to $5,000 range; middle schools tend to be a little higher; high schools start at about $6,500. Many schools, including the 20 schools listed on this site, offer extensive tuition assistance.

2. Are there any other costs associated with enrolling my child at a Catholic School?

Depending on the school, there can be various fees - including a registration fee and book fee. As all of the schools require wearing a uniform, there may be a cost associated with this. For more accurate information, contact the school(s) which you are interested in enrolling your child.

3. Who can apply for assistance?

Anyone can apply for tuition assistance. The process varies at each school and the amount awarded to each student depends on the parent/guardian income.

4. How do I apply for assistance?

To apply for tuition assistance, contact the school which you would like to enroll your child.

5. Do the schools ever give full tuition assistance?

The schools rarely, if ever, give full tuition to a student or family. Often times there is enough tuition assistance available to give deep scholarships to families, but many schools find it important that families are invested in their child’s education to some extent.

6. Do you have to be Catholic to attend a Catholic School?

No. At many of the schools, the majority of the students are not Catholic. However, all students are expected to attend religion classes, school masses and prayer services.

7. Do any of the schools offer transportation?

None of the 20 schools highlighted on this site offer transportation. However, most of the schools are located on or close to MTA bus lines.

8. Do any of these schools offer before or after school care?

Many of the schools (specifically the elementary and middle schools) do have before and after school care. Contact specific schools to find out details.
